GOLDEN TRIANGLE
Day 1: (BANGKOK-) CHIANG MAI (20 KM)
Pick-up from your BKK Hotel and transfer to BKK Airport.
Flight Bangkok – Chiang Mai (airfare not included – to be booked additionally).
Meet at Chiang Mai airport and transfer to the hotel.
Visit Wat Phrathad Doi Suthep (A.D.1384) 3,500 feet above sea-level, containing a holy relic of the Lord Buddha, with a challenging flight of over 300 steps, flanked by mythological Nagas. A panoramic view of the City can be seen from here at 3,500 feet above sea level.
Day 2: CHIANG MAI (40 km)
Breakfast at hotel. Visit a jungle area north of Chiang Mai including an Elephant Camp. You will see a demonstration of how trained elephants are used in the Teak Industry. You can also ride an elephant (extra charge)! At an Orchid Nursery, you’ll explore hundreds of species of rare and colorful blooms.
Lunch at local restaurant.
Visit Sankamphaeng; with its Thai silk and cotton handlooms; Bor Sang, the paper and umbrella-making village; the Celadon kilns with its exquisite, traditional high-fired stoneware factories. The main purpose of this tour is to show you how talented Chiang Mai people are at their art works and handicrafts from raw materials until the finished products.

Day 3 CHIANG MAI – CHIANG RAI (185 KM)
Breakfast at hotel.
Leave for Chiang Rai overland across mountains, valleys and picturesque landscapes. A stop is made at the Hot Springs along the way. At Mae Chan visit a Yao and an Akha hilltribe village. Continue to Mae Sai, the northernmost town of the country, bordering Myanmar.
Lunch at local restaurant.
Visit the famous and popular Golden Triangle area around Chiang Saen, situated on the banks of the Mekong River which divides Thailand and Laos. Experience a boat trip on the Mekhong River.
Transfer to your hotel in Chiang Rai city and check in.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 CHIANG RAI (- BANGKOK) (15 KM)
Breakfast at hotel.
Morning at leisure and transfer to Chiang Rai airport.
End of the programme.

Important note:
- Passengers with no connecting flight can book their return flight to BKK Donmuang Airport (DMK) or BKK Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK).
- Passengers with connecting flight to Phuket or Krabi on THAI (TG) please book your return flight and onwards flight using the same airport as you travel on day 1.

- Passengers with connecting flight on Bangkok Airways or any International flight must book their return flight to BKK Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) only. The minimum connecting time within the Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport:
